Home is not a place, its a feeling. Why is it so significant in our lives?
It makes us believe that at the end of the day, we gotta be in a safe and calm place. We should be somewhere comfortable and secure. It makes us believe that after a thunderous day, there is still light that can lead the dark road.
The weather can be rusty anytime, problems can appear without a warning, life can get dreadful without a prior notice and thats why we need to always have a home to protect us. A home that could make us feel okay, a home that could be one solution to all the problems, a home that is waiting for us. But could your home be a person?
A person who’s love makes the stormy weather calm, a person who could make you feel loved when you need it, a person who would give you a reason to live when all you want to do is die.
In this crazy lifestyle, we meet millions of humans that might not get close to us even after decades of knowing them, but when you meet that one person who’d be your home, you would know it within a fraction of second.
Some of us undermine the power of love, but it is true that it can cure all evils. Yes, love has the power to take life to the highest of highs and lowest of lows. Love can make your success feel much happier and your failure like its nothing. Love can give you strength and wisdom. And thats why, get yourself a person who can love.
Get yourself a person who could be your home, who could make you realise the beauty of life. Get yourself a person who could make you feel at the top of the mountain. Get yourself a person who could hold you tight when you need it. Get yourself a person you deserve, someone who would show you your true worth. Someone who would be your mirror when you find yourself ugly, who would be your pillar to hold on. A person who will be your dream when you can’t sleep.
It is important to keep searching until you find this person. You might have to ridicule a couple of people before you get to your home, but keep looking. Because living in a hotel could give you joy but it could never be your home. Home is one place that’ll stay forever.
